Chief Executive Officer – Jenni Beetson-Mortimer
Jenni Beetson-Mortimer is CEO of the Northern Rivers Community Gateway. Jenni is a graduate of Social Leadership Australia and holds a Bachelor of Social Science. She has completed post graduate studies in public sector management and is currently undertaking a Master of Human Resource and Organisational Development. Jenni has worked in various roles in Government and the NGO sectors. Since 2000 she has worked in leadership roles within the NGO sector as CEO, Manager, Planner and Community Development Worker. Jenni is a Board member of Homelessness NSW. She is a full member of the Planning Institute of Australia, the Australian Institute of Management and the Case Management Society of Australia.
Social Inclusion Manager – Amitha Pathirana
Amitha Pathirana is the Manager of the Social Inclusion Branch at the Northern Rivers Community Gateway. Amitha has experience in management committees, governance, case management, program management and development in the NGO sector and small business management. She holds formal qualifications in Management, Community Development and Microfinance.
Children’s Services Manager – Helen Hall
Helen Hall has worked extensively for local Government and the NGO sectors in the fields of child care and disability. Helen has worked for the Northern Rivers Community Gateway for 16 years and currently holds the position as Manager of Children’s Services. Helen holds a Diploma of Children’s Services, an Advanced Diploma of Community Sector Management as well as qualifications in community services and Alcohol and Other Drugs. Helen is currently completing a Bachelor of Child and Family Studies.
Community Support Manager – Shaun McPherson
Shaun McPherson is the Manager of the Community Support Branch at the Northern Rivers Community Gateway, managing a range of trauma counselling, family therapy, and homelessness programs across the organization. Shaun holds post-graduate qualifications in both human development and business management studies, and has over 13 years’ experience in the community and welfare sector. Throughout his career, Shaun has worked in various NGO, Government and Charity roles, and comes with a well-developed experience in leading teams towards achieving positive social outcomes.
Corporate Service Manager – Jodi Burley
Jodi Burley is the Manager of Corporate Services at Northern Rivers Community Gateway, managing the accounting, human resources and IT departments. Jodi holds undergraduate qualifications in Accounting and has over 20 years’ experience in both the corporate and welfare sectors. Jodi is a Board member of RED Inc and also Paint The Town REaD Inc.
