Chief Executive Officer – Jenni Beetson-Mortimer
Jenni is CEO of the Northern Rivers Community Gateway. She is Chair of the NSW Financial Inclusion Network, Treasurer of Homelessness NSW, a board member of Homelessness Australia, a full member of the Planning Institute of Australia and the Institute of Managers and Leaders. Jenni is a graduate of Social Leadership Australia, holds a Bachelor of Social Science, has completed post graduate studies in public sector management. She is also in her final semester of a Master of Leadership through Deakin University. Since 2000 Jenni has worked in leadership roles within the NGO sector as a CEO, Manager, Planner and Community Development Worker. Jenni has a strong commitment to social justice, financial inclusion, ending homelessness and grass roots community services that provide true wrap around holistic services to disadvantaged people..
Social and Financial Inclusion Manager – Warren Anderson
Warren has over 15 years of experience in governance, management and regulation, having worked extensively through the community services sector, government, legislation, service providers and funding bodies across South East Queensland and Northern New South Wales. Warren also has experience in internal auditing, a diploma in project management, training and assessment, and is an international speaker with a solid management background in the NGO sector.
Children’s Services Manager – Helen Hall
Helen has worked extensively for local government and the NGO sectors in the fields of child care and disability. Helen has worked for the Northern Rivers Community Gateway for 16 years and currently holds the position as Manager of Children’s Services. Helen holds a diploma in children’s services, an advanced diploma in community sector management as well as qualifications in community services, alcohol and other drugs. Helen is currently completing a bachelor’s degree in child and family studies.
Community Support Manager – Shaun McPherson
Shaun manages a range of trauma counselling, family therapy and homelessness programs across the organisation. Shaun holds post-graduate qualifications in both human development and business management studies, and has over 13 years of experience in the community and welfare sector. Throughout his career, Shaun has worked in various NGO, government and charity roles, and comes with a well-developed experience in leading teams towards achieving positive social outcomes.
Corporate Service Manager – Jodi Burley
Jodi manages the accounting, human resources, IT and communications departments of the organisation. Jodi holds undergraduate qualifications in accounting, has over 20 years’ experience in both the corporate and welfare sectors and is a board member of RED Inc.
